What it does
A register of what the company owns
Add each item once: its name, a kind such as phone, laptop, vehicle, tool, uniform or keys, your own tag like LAP-07, the serial or number plate, its condition and a photo. What it cost is there for the people who manage equipment and is never shown to the person holding it.
Handed out, and confirmed
Choose the person, the date and when it is due back. They get a push on their phone and tap to confirm they have it, and the register says “Not confirmed” until they do. That tap settles “I never got it” before it starts.
Back on time
On the day an item is due back, the holder gets one reminder that day. Anything past its date shows to the people who manage equipment as overdue for return.
Every handover on record
Each item keeps its history: who held it, from when to when, the condition it went out and came back in, who handed it out, who took it back, and when it went for repair or was reported lost. An approved equipment request from the requests desk is handed out from the request itself.
When someone leaves
Removing a person shows what they still hold, such as the phone and the shop keys. Removal is never blocked, and the register keeps their name on anything not yet returned until it comes back or is marked lost.

Questions about Equipment
Is it available now?
Yes. On every plan, switch Equipment on under Settings, then Modules, and it is in your account straight away.
Will it cost extra?
No. Equipment is in every plan at the prices published today.
Can staff see what an item cost?
No. Costs are for the people who manage equipment. Staff see what they hold, when it is due back and whether they have confirmed it, on their phone.
Can we keep it off?
Yes. Equipment stays off until you switch it on, and once on, only the roles you choose can add items, hand them out and take them back.

Create your company, invite your staff and switch it on in Settings, under Modules. Your team uses it from the AfriBMS app on their phones.
